I had a thrive bowl prior to this and it's paint started disintegrating in the water so I was looking for something new. This one is perfect. It's sturdy, and deep enough to keep a perfect shallow pool for my leopard gecko to drink from (I got a medium, other reviews were saying the small was too small if you wanted it for water.) It's too heavy to be pushed by my gecko and the water hasn't evaporated from my lights and heat emitters even a fraction as quickly as my past bowl, regardless of it being more shallow. One thing I would like is if you could actually choose which color bowl you get, but luckily I got a cute pastel one that matches the decor in my tank. Definitely would suggest!( If I have any issues later on I will update my review, but so far 5/5)
