I got only 6 of themAmd i have to return instead of aoneone sending me the missing 6!!!!!Update 12/29/17: I loved the shell pattern so much that I ordered the 4.5" leaf pattern ramekins as well. They arrived yesterday and I adore them. They look like they hold about the same volume as the 3.5" shells, maybe slightly more, though I haven't actually measured. They are a different shape, after all.12/26/17: My husband gave me the 3.5” shell ramekins as a Christmas gift and I absolutely LOVE them! They are the perfect size for my stuffed clams. I think they are even prettier in person than they looked online. It’s hard to tell from the picture, but there is a beautiful, subtle design on the inside of the shell. They went through the dishwasher (top rack) just fine. I can’t wait to use these!This is a perfect set for serving dipping sauces where you don't need a large quantity since these ramekins are only 2 1/2 inches. I like to use these for soy sauce and hot sauces. The set is sturdy enough to not have to worry about breakage since they are so tiny. They stack easily so they don't take up much space in my cupboard which I really like. The set of 12 is perfect as it allows me to have two dipping bowls each for up to 6 people. I've never had a nice set like this so I'm really glad I now have these on hand for those occasions where they are needed.We use these all the time and they are very nice!!!Fantastic quality. These are small, but great to put your used tea bag, soy sauce, individual butter serving etc. So many uses, and you can even bake in them! I was so impressed with the quality that I ordered 3 more sets to give as gifts. The box they come in is horrible, but I plan to change them to a prettier box.I bought these for the wet cat food. The low sides make it easy for the cats to eat. The are easy to clean and look nice. They are a bit fragile -- as one dish broke when removing from diswasher and it hit another dish.We received this set but several pieces were broken in transit. Luckily amazon will be repacking these. These are delicate pieces. We like the shape of these and are useful in placing small portions of food.I really like these, and wish I had order 12, rather than 6. Now I don't see it available in 6 ct, so I'll have to get 12 more, which will total 18.Nice quality china and a good size .We use these ramekin dishes for tartar sauce in our fish and chip restaurant.
