I was nervous about buying plates online because I was afraid they would arrive and be ugly, cheap & tacky looking. If you also are worried about this, then these are definitely the plates for you. First of all, they are so pretty. Just like the pics but I like them even more in person. They have a nice heavy weight to them, sturdy and good quality, without being too heavy to actually use. The size is perfect, nice & big, with a relatively shallow profile and a curved lip around the edges to keep any sauces, etc. from sliding off. Washed great in the dishwasher. Overall, there’s just something very appealing about them, it makes me happy to look at them. They were also packed very well with thick styrofoam between and around them in a well-fitting box, so they arrived in perfect condition with no chipped or broken ones. I would definitely buy these again or other things in the set to match them.
