Description

These Kimax dishes have reinforced beaded edges to resist mechanical breakage and to help in centering the bottom inside the cover. Dishes remain clear after repeated use in wet or dry sterilization cycles. Covers have a fused-on bright red ceramic enamel marking spot and inscription, including "Cover"; Bottoms have a white ceramic enamel inscription, including "Bottom". The combination of different colors and wording permits quick and easy identification of the parts when sorting, selecting and assembling pairs. Bottom also has a vertical arrow on the side to precisely locate serial dilution starting points. Shelf-packs contain twelve covers and twelve bottoms, which are packed in separate boxes. As far as the glassware goes, these are fine, and I'm sure will give me many years of service.I was disappointed because one of the covers had a broken edge. On top of that the broken glass was not in the box, which means the manufacturer packaged it that way. I guess there's no quality control. It would be hard to miss since the broken part was about 2" of the edge. It would cost more to send it back so they just screwed me on this order.Item description states this is for a complete set (covers and bottoms) of 12 dishes. I received only 12 bottoms and zero covers. I have tried contacting Amazon about this issue but have received no correspondence. Severely disappointing.
